My cap was something that took over 5 hours to decorate, 12 bobby pins to hold in and something that told my story as a senior/convert. In the scripture Helaman 5:12 it says,"And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty stormshall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall."  Man did this just mean the world to me. if you didn't know,  Satan tried to get me out of baptism. he truly did the best he could to make me not want to. however it wasn't enough to change me, so this verse reminded me of who I was and who I want to be. I have a solid foundation and I need to remind myself that from now till they day I die that there will be times of troubles and that I just have to carry my head high and know who I stand by, who happens to be Jesus Christ. But then the second part to my cap reminded me of something I have to work for and prepare for. I want to be a missionary so badly, but I truly have to know the scriptures and gospel before I go out and preach it. so my personal goal is to read  everything in my four part book. cover to cover and to really study and know it, not just read it.
