MILAGROS: ft Jessie

It's truly amazing when you meet someone and instantly become friends with them. Then even years later, you're still the greatest of friends. It's actually one of the most beautiful things about friendships that I think any person can take from this earthly life. ANYWAYS. This is Jessie, aka Sister Carlson. She's probably one of very few people in the world who knows me better than I know myself. AND she's beyond spiritual. She just knows how to follow direction from the Holy Spirit, and in most times she doesn't even realize how much she's been of aide to me. This weekend, sweet Jessie Whitney came on up from Provo Utah to visit. It had not only been one of the hardest week since bing at BYUI academically, it had been one of the most draining ones spiritually. I can honestly say I was at a point where I didn't quite know where to go. I just knew I needed someone to say something to me. What was that something? I have no idea, BUT Jessie sure did. She just asked me how I was doing and sincerely displayed interest in the response I was going to give her. I was able to open my heart up, say things out loud that I needed to say, and ask for help. For the first time in months I finally asked someone other than my Heavenly Father for help. AND IT WAS AMAZING. I didn't figure out what it was that I needed to learn quite yet, but I did hear through long multiple conversations with Jessie, what I needed to hear to be able to move forward. To not feel so stagnant. It truly was everything I needed. I'm very grateful for Jessie and her sudden gasps because she forgets to breathe or is taken aback at the amount of love she has for me. Heavenly Father truly does bless. And I am so glad that have been so open hearted to be able to see that Jessie and so many around me are truly loving and caring people who want to do nothing but love, support and guide me through all my challenges and trials. I love the gospel and the missionaries that serve all around the world. Creating friendships to the children that need someone the most. I'm grateful for Jessie and her willingness to follow the spirit and go on a mission and meet me and help me become truly converted to the gospel. MILAGROS AMIGOS.
