I got hurt, reeeaaaalll bad

I fell. It wasn't a normal fall like an "oops I just fell, lol" it was a *pop pop pop* "oh my goodness. I can't feel my leg. *screams for Jaden*" fall. My husband and I decided to go skiing to celebrate our one year anniversary, and while doing so, I fell. After the fall I went down the hill wrapped up in a toboggan escorted by 6 amazing ski patrol staff.

I was splinted and rushed to the hospital. Our elders quorum president met us there and gave me a blessing. Turns out it is a torn ACL, torn meniscus, and broken cartilage on the lateral weight bearing portion of my knee. Surgery will be at the end of next week (April 5th, 2018).
In the surgery it is planned to do reconstruction on my ACL harvesting from my hamstring, a cut out of my meniscus (hoping it mends itself together because it is thrashed), and taking cartilage from my non-weight bearing portion of my knee and transplanting it down to the portion that is broken off that is weight bearing.
Got a new (and expensive) brace! Hoping to get some range of motion back and stiffness away before the surgery. (which I did!!!) This picture is post surgery of about 3 hours, and I'm doing so much better now. I'll update you all on how things are going now after surgery and how I'm managing everything!
