the sacrament

The elders quorum president and his counselor came over this afternoon, and together they prepared and administered the sacrament to Jaden and I.

As they blessed each the water and the bread, my eyes filled with tears and my heart filled with joy and love knowing that I wasn't going to miss partaking of the sacrament.

Today has been a rough day, I've felt nauseous with just about everything I've tried to eat. And the pain has been pretty unbearable. But the blessing of the day isn't that I magically held something down, or just that they just came over and I got to partake of the sacrament.

It was that the spirit fully engulfed our home and each other, and in that small moment we knew that we were not alone. I love my Father in Heaven, his church here on earth, and his wonderful servants he has sent to personally minister to my family.
